Doctor Alessandro Fouarge is a plastic surgeon specialized in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and breast.
He obtained his Medical Degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) with Great Distinction in 2013. After two years of common training in General Surgery at UCL, he completed his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and Imperial College London. After 6 years of specialization, he graduated from ULB in 2019 with Great Distinction. In the same year, he graduated from the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum (CCP).
To develop his skills further, he completed a year's Fellowship in microsurgical reconstruction of the breast and face at Imperial College Hospitals, London in 2020. He is also a member of the Royal Belgian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (RBSPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the European Rhinoplasty Society.
In a more aesthetic context, Dr. Fouarge bases his practice on attentive listening to offer a natural, elegant and harmonious result, in line with the patient's wishes and expectations.
In addition to his private practice, Docteur Fouarge carries out his reconstructive and microsurgical activities at the Erasmus Hospital. This university-run facility offers the holistic approach needed to manage complicated reconstructions, while stimulating scientific development in the service of finely articulated surgery.
