Doctor Nina Leduc graduated with great distinction from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2016 and completed her specialisation in internal medicine and cardiology within the ULB hospital network (Hôpital Erasme, CHU Tivoli, CHU Charleroi).
She currently works as in the cardiology department at Delta Hospital in Brussels (CHIREC network), where she treats inpatients and outpatients in general cardiology consultations. She performs echocardiography and stress tests to detect and monitor heart disease affecting the valves, muscle or arteries of the heart. She is responsible for the cardiological follow-up of patients hospitalised for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation after heart surgery or a heart attack.
She has completed an Inter-University Diploma (DIU) in Echocardiography and Sports Cardiology at the University of Bordeaux. She is currently undergoing a sub-specialisation in cardiac rehabilitation.
She is a member of the Young Cardiologists Club (YCC) of the Belgian Society of Cardiology (BSC) and the Belgian Working Group on Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BWGCPR).
Dr Leduc is available at the Medical Walzin Centre for general cardiology consultations, in French and English, including the management of hypertension, heart failure and coronary artery disease, rhythm disorders, pre-operative check-ups and the prevention of cardiovascular risk factors. She also carries out cardiac check-ups for athletes and non-athletes wishing to start or resume physical activity.
