Podiatry care at the centre
Podiatrists are health professionals specialised in foot disorders, their causes and their impact on posture (from young children to the elderly).
They are qualified to treat skin and nail disorders (corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, etc.).
They advise patients on curative and preventive hygiene care and, where necessary, make orthoses and resin nails.
The chiropodist also looks at the biomechanics of the lower limb and will carry out a palpatory examination, analysing pain and taking measurements. He will then carry out an analysis of walking and pressure on the ground. If necessary, an insole or orthotic will be made after taking the time to explain to the patient the mechanisms and elements influencing his or her body mechanics.
